SOAP LAKE — An Ephrata teen was killed in a single-vehicle collision Monday night, according to a statement from the Washington State Patrol.

The 16-year-old boy, whose name was not released, was driving south on SR 17 between Soap Lake and Coulee City at about 10:15 p.m. in a 2004 Honda Civic, according to the statement. He failed to negotiate a curve at about the halfway point and rolled the car, which came to rest on its top in the northbound lane.
