MOSES LAKE — Coming off of an up-and-down weekend, the Lady Vikes battled it out versus Northwest Indian College in a one-game showdown at the Devries Activity Center on Tuesday.

The story of the game was told early as BBCC took a ten-point lead after the first quarter, and stretched their lead to 26 going into the break. With a victory in sight, the Lady Vikes stepped on the gas in the third quarter setting a season-high in points for a quarter with 30, followed by a light 13-point quarter to wrap up a 48-point victory with a final score of 87-39. A relatively non-competitive game allowed the Lady Vikes to iron a few things out before entering conference play. Three Vikes entered double digits with Katie Hansen dropping 16 points and 4 rebounds, Kali Kast chipping in with a bakers dozen in points and eight rebounds while Aquinna Riggles rounded off the scoring with 12 points of her own.

Coming off of a blowout win versus Northwest Indian College, the Lady Vikes prepare for the NWAC Crossover tournament at Clackamas Community College as they face off versus Bellevue College on Friday, followed by the host in Clackamas Community College on Saturday and wrapping up the weekend by battling it out versus South Puget Sound on Sunday.
