OPINION: Libraries should prioritize availability over facelift

(The Dec. 6) Herald ran a story announcing a $10 million facelift for our area libraries. Nice, except spending money for facilities that have limited access hours since COVID reared its ugly head and because the system and because the system doesn’t have the money to pay to have the libraries open to pre-COVID hours.
