Man killed in Sunday morning accident

MOSES LAKE — A motorist died Sunday morning after losing control of his vehicle and rolling off the road while driving south on Patton Boulevard near the intersection with SR-17.

According to Grant County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sharon Palmerton, the man, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin, apparently lost control of his car around 8 a.m. The car then rolled several times and came to a rest east of Patton Boulevard.

“No one else was injured,” Palmerton said.

Palmerton said that the intersection was closed until around 11 a.m. Sunday morning while law enforcement investigated the accident.
