Coronavirus: New cases in Adams County

OTHELLO — One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Adams County on Thursday, May 28. On Wednesday, six new confirmed cases were reported in the county.

All of the new cases are in Othello. The county states that the new cases likely stem from Mother’s Day activities, not from the more recent move into Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan.

Adams County’s total is 61 confirmed cases; 52 have recovered so far.

From the county, 522 tests have been sent out, and 433 have come back with negative results. Currently, 14 tests are pending.
