Mattawa Farmers Market to open in July

MATTAWA — The Mattawa Farmers Market’s organizer, Diane Hyndman, plans to open the market on July 15.

Hyndman got approval from the Mattawa City Council on May 7. Due to COVID-19, farmers markets at that time were required to accept only specific types of vendors, make traffic flow in specific ways and not have any seating or music. The guidelines may change before the market opens.

The Mattawa Farmers Market’s planned schedule is Wednesdays from 3 to 6 p.m. from July 15 to Aug. 5.
