Coronavirus: 32 new cases in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY — There were 32 confirmed cases of the coronavirus reported in Grant County on Tuesday: 17 cases in the Mattawa area, seven cases in Moses Lake, six in the Quincy area one in Royal City and one in the rural Grant County area near Othello, according to Grant County Health District.

In total, there have been 1,177 cases of Grant County residents who have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic began and 582 residents who have recovered in the last 28 days. As of Monday, state officials had reported that 75 county residents had been hospitalized after being sickened by the coronavirus; nine are currently hospitalized, according to the health district.

In the hardest-hit areas of Grant County, Moses Lake has had 335 confirmed cases since March, the Mattawa area had 273 and the Quincy area had 272.
