Coronavirus: 67 new cases in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY — There were 67 new cases of the coronavirus reported in Grant County on Monday — one on Friday, 21 on Saturday, 28 on Sunday and 17 on Monday — with positive test results from across the county, according to Grant County Health District.

This brings the countywide total of cases since the pandemic began to 1,145, with nine deaths. In addition, nine people infected with the coronavirus remain hospitalized, the health district reported.

The health district also noted that Secretary of Health John Wiesman updated the Statewide Face Covering Order to include “anytime you leave your home, mobile home, apartment, condominium, hotel or motel room or other dwelling units such as dorm rooms, adult family home, other long term care facilities, and sororities.”

There have been 328 cases reported in Moses Lake, 256 in the Mattawa area, 266 in the Quincy area and 94 in the Ephrata area.
