Letter: Thanks for medical care

| July 9, 2020 12:06 AM

This is a story about Moses Lake nurses and doctors that needs to be told, particularly in this time of a pandemic.

I am one to say that the care I received at the ER at Samaritan Hospital is second to none. All my “angels” treated me with utmost care.

I fell at home against an old library table on a late Saturday night, and called 911 with Grant County 5 responding. The two firemen stated that no ambulances were available, so our decision was to wait until Monday morning at which time we went into the Moses Lake Confluence Walk-In Clinic.

The doctor I saw called for an ambulance, after seeing an X-ray. The angel that treated me, Dr Cecilia Trydestam, inserted a tube into my side, to inflate my lung, as the accident had broken two ribs and partially deflated my left lung.

I stayed that Monday and was discharged the following evening. The fabulous care and treatment I received were nothing short of fantastic.

So, I want to thank all of the nurses and doctors who were on duty during the time I had the privilege of visiting your establishment.

God bless all of you!

Don Adolfson
