GTA reduces services due to pandemic

Grant Transit Authority will reduce services starting Monday out of concern for the health of the community, riders and employees, the organization announced Friday.

Changes effective April 6 include elimination of all DART service, all weekend service and all service to Wenatchee (Route 50). Possible alternative transportation to Wenatchee may be available through People For People, 765-9249.

Starting Monday, Route 12 1 p.m. loop is canceled; Route 13 will end at 6:55 p.m.; Route 14 will end at 6:20 p.m.; Route 20 will end at 8:25 p.m.; Route 30 5:20 p.m. loop is canceled; Route 40 will end at 6:30 p.m.

Revised service schedules were to be posted on GTA’s website April 3. People with questions and comments may call GTA at 765-0898.
