Grant County landfill to close temporarily

EPHRATA — The Grant County Commissioner’s Office announced in a press release that Grant County’s landfill will close to the public beginning on Friday.

The closure is to help ensure social distancing and compliance with the governor’s “stay home, stay healthy” order.

The landfill will remain open to commercial haulers. Those with special handling situations such as deceased animals, rotting or about-to-rot waste and health/safety-related items are asked to call 509-754-4319.
