MOSES LAKE - A woman reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel on Interstate 90 on Friday, which led to a rollover collision that left her and one of her passengers injured.

About 12:30 p.m. Krista Fisher, 39, of Albany, Oregon, was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer west on I-90 at exit 179 in Moses Lake when she reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle reportedly entered the median, which caused Fisher to overcorrect. The Ford rolled and came to a rest on the right shoulder of westbound I-90, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Fisher and one of her two passengers in the Ford, identified as Crystal Royer, 33, of Albany, Oregon, were injured in the rollover and transported to Samaritan Hospital for treatment. The patrol reports that Royer was not wearing a seatbelt. The patrol says charges against Fisher are “pending investigation.”
