MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man was arrested Saturday after crashing his motorcycle and attempting to flee on foot.

Robert Gwinn, 38, Moses Lake, was arrested for felony eluding when Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputies located him after he had led them on a chase and escaped, according to a press release from the GCSO.

“Gwinn already had a prior warrant for eluding police and was suspected of the same from earlier (Friday),” the press release said. Deputies identified him and attempted to stop him, but “discontinued the pursuit, as the subject entered the city of Moses Lake driving extremely recklessly.”

After further investigation deputies located Gwinn in Cascade Valley, near the intersection of Lee Drive and Northeast Stanley Street, the press release said. Gwinn tried to run away again, lost control of his motorcycle and tried to feel on foot. “He was apprehended a short time later without incident,” the press release said.
