Registered nursing assistant has license suspended for alleged theft

MOSES LAKE — The credential of a Moses Lake registered nurse assistant has been suspended for three years following allegations of theft.

Makayla Rae Jo Baird’s RNA credential was suspended, along with her certified nursing assistant credential. The suspension was connected with an alleged incident in August 2018, according to information from the Washington Department of Health.

Baird was an in-home caregiver for a patient identified as Client A. “On multiple occasions in August 2018, Respondent (Baird) improperly used Client A’s debit card for transactions that did not benefit Client A. Respondent purchased personal items and received cash back for a total of approximately $339.64.”

Baird’s credential was suspended for unprofessional conduct.
