Report of bike stolen at a residence in the 1400 block of West Sunset Drive. Bike was described as a gray “specialized speed bike,” estimated value $200.

Report of vandalism in the Blue Heron Park. Unknown suspect spray-painted graffiti on the parking lot of at the boat launch.

Charges pending against a student from Moses Lake High School found in possession of glass smoking device with burnt residue.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 934 N. Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 turned right from Mart Road to go south. Driver of vehicle 2 attempted to move into the other lane to avoid vehicle 1 and hit it. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield right of way.

Report of theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Employee allegedly failed to ring up about $50 in merchandise while buying items during multiple transactions.

Report of road rage at South Dogwood Street and West Fourth Avenue. Reporting party said unknown suspect threw a sticky liquid substance on her car because she accidentally cut the driver off.

Report of theft at a business at 1180 N. Stratford Rd. Unknown female suspect walked into the store and stole a dress off a mannequin. Estimated value $22.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Kittleson Road and SR-17. Driver of vehicle 1 rolled back at a red light, hitting vehicle 2.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested for four counts of second-degree assault. The woman allegedly was in an argument with a former boyfriend over a vehicle, and when he took the keys she grabbed a gun and started pointing it at people.

April 21

A man, no age listed, was arrested on an outstanding Minnesota warrant.

Report of theft at a business at 1201 S. Pioneer Way. Reporting party said she dropped her wallet inside the store, and when it was returned about $170 was missing.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at West Broadway Avenue and West Third Avenue. Driver and passenger in vehicle 1 were arrested on outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrants.

Report of theft from a residence in the 700 block of South Poplar Street. Reporting party said a pistol was stolen from the trunk of a vehicle. Pistol was described as a 9mm Taurus pistol, serial no. TKZ58889.

Report of two-vehicle, minor injury accident in the 500 block of West Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 said she was attempting to change lanes and ran into the back of vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 2 had a pacemaker, began suffering chest pains and was transported to Samaritan Healthcare.

Report of theft from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Suspect was cited for third-degree theft and driving without a valid driver’s license or other identification.

April 22

Report of theft at a business at 420 S. Wanapum Drive. Unknown juvenile subject ran into the store, took items and ran out. Suspect left in an unidentified sedan.

Report of speeding car in the 700 block of West Broadway Avenue. Driver was arrested for DUI. The car was towed.

Report of vehicle theft at a residence in the 1300 block of West Century Street. Owner had GPS, which helped officers locate the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered; owner said multiple items had been stolen from the vehicle.

A 41-year-old man was arrested for possession of controlled substances.

A 56-year-old man was cited for third-degree theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. The man allegedly picked up a wallet that had been dropped by another shopper.

A man, no age listed, was cited for third-degree theft after allegedly stealing merchandise from a business at 960 N. Stratford Rd.

April 23

A 20-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant.

Report of attempted car prowl. Reporting party said two men had tried to open the door of her running car. They fled on foot. One suspect was described as a white male with a beard, the other as a Hispanic male with a mustache.

Betsy Peraza, 36, transient/Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on a charge of second-degree burglary.

Angelette Obendorf, 38, Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree theft and an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation.

Michael Capshaw, 36, Grand Coulee, was booked for possession of controlled substances and an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Nelia Gamboa Contreras, 29, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and interfering with reporting domestic violence.

Israel Gonzalez, 18, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for driving without a valid driver’s license or other identification.

Rafael Herrejon, 54, no address listed, was booked on an outstanding GCDC commitment order to serve two days for DUI.

Shianne Arnold, 21, East Wenatchee, was booked for four counts of second-degree assault.

Shae Hurley, 21, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license and an outstanding Adams County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
