Teachers deserve better treatment

| April 19, 2018 3:00 AM

Today I write to speak for our teachers. They are the most mistreated people in the world. They’re underpaid and many of then use the little money they make to buy school supplies and other necessary things to help their students. Washington, D.C. funds and supports everybody but our teachers. They take teachers for granted and take their kindness for weakness.

It’s time to vote these people out of office who don’t support teachers and students. No teacher should have to protest for school supplies nor higher pay. I wouldn’t treat a dog the way they treat teachers.

But things will never change until teachers stop spending the little money they make and put the responsibility on Washington D.C. or the state. If they can fund police and the military, they can fund teachers and schools too. Instead of building walls, take that money and help teachers and students.

From now on I will be the voice for abandoned and neglected teachers and students, because without teachers none of us would be anything. Let’s start treating our good-hearted teachers better in this selfish world. In 1980 they used to treat teachers better.

Thanks to all teachers. Change is coming soon. Change must come.
