'Snow sticks' on Free Family Saturday

| November 28, 2017 2:00 AM

MOSES LAKE — Winter is here, and that means snow is coming, sooner or later. And kids can make a handy gauge to measure that snow during Free Family Saturday, sponsored by the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center.

Kids can make their own “snow stick” from noon to 2 p.m. (or until supplies run out) at the museum classroom, 401 S. Balsam St.

Free Family Saturday is supported by donations to the museum, memberships and the annual “Feed the Mammoth” party each November. People who want more information about the museum and its programs can contact museum officials at 509-764-3830.
