Brit Wardenaar, Grady Stewart and Mason Meseberg stand with their and their and their dad's catch of the day. Love to see the kiddos enjoy the sport of fishing.

Cooler nights and shorter days have keyed in the beginning of the fall fishing patterns on Potholes Reservoir.

Surface water temperatures are dropping into the high 60’s, which indicates the fall bite is on. Bass anglers are reporting up to 30 bass catch and release outings.

Our walleye bite continues to be excellent with a limit of 8 fish per angler begin reported by many boats.

The jumbo walleye are showing daily by many fishers also. Our premier walleye guide on Potholes Reservoir, Shelby Ross, has been limiting his clients routinely for weeks.

One of Shelby’s Clients reported catching a nice walleye over 13 pounds.

The joy of our great walleye bite right now is seeing all the new fisher’s having a great day out on the water.

The MarDon Dock has been fair for perch and trout. Crappie has been much better with fish up to 13 inches reported just this past week.

The Seep Lake’s below O’Sullivan Dam have been almost ignored with the main reservoir producing so well.

One group of Anglers reported walleye limits from Soda Lake. You can also have a great trout bite this time of year down in the Seeps.

Windmill, Canal and Heart Lake are just a few good options to target trout. You can also catch some nice rainbow or triploid trout on the West End of Corral Lake.

And don’t forget to try for a nice bass in Corral Lake too.
