Two meetings for Republicans

| May 4, 2012 1:00 PM

MOSES LAKE - There will be two important meetings this weekend for Grant County Republicans, according to county committee chair Dani Bolyard.

First, on Saturday, May 5, at 9 a.m. at Bob’s Café in Moses Lake, National Committeeman candidate Anthony Welcher will be hosting breakfast.

“Only your county representatives to the state party will be voting for this representative from our state to the RNC, but we’d like your input.” Bolyard said. “This is your chance to vet the man who may represent you on the national party level. If you’ve ever thought about being more involved in the party, now’s the time.”

The second meeting is at 10:30 a.m. that same day, at Benson Funeral Home. Roberta Anderson, County Canvassing Committee Chair, will be presenting a Precinct Committee Officer Informational Seminar.

Anderson will cover the importance of the PCO in the political process, the responsibilities of the PCO, and how to file as a candidate to be the representative of your voting precinct to the county party.
