Harvey A. (Jack) Wilson

Harvey A. (Jack) Wilson, 93, a longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Thursday evening (December 16) at home, surrounded by his family.

One of eight children, Jack was born and raised near Cody, Wyoming, on March 31, 1917 to Frank and Myrtle Wilson. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II and then moved to the Columbia Basin in 1950. He was proud of being part of the construction work that made the Columbia Basin flourish. Jack spent many retirement years as a snowbird in Yuma, AZ.

Harvey is survived by the family he was proud of: Betty, his wife of 69 years; daughter Susan Wilson of San Mateo, CA; son and daughter-in-law Jack and Lynne Wilson of Moses Lake; and daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Bill Chamberlin of Gainesville, FL. He is also survived by one sister and multiple nieces and nephews.

Inurnment will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Essential Tremor Foundation, or to Central Basin Home Health and Hospice who gently cared for Jack in his last 2 weeks.
