Man shoots his third hole in one at Moses Pointe
MOSES LAKE - Duffer Roger Erdman of Moses Lake scored the third hole in one in his life on Sunday.
Erdman was taking on the par 3 fifth hole at The Links at Moses Pointe with a 3 wood when he accomplished the feat.
Owen McClain, Assistant Golf Professional for the Links, verified the shot and said it's "not an uncommon occurrence" at the course and it happens "every two or three months."
The "par 3 is longer so it's a little harder," McClain said of the fifth hole, but you "only have to be right once" to get an ace.
The desert course at The Links has drawn celebrities from both the sports and entertainment world who find the course challenging enough to take time from the their schedule's to relax in private McClain said.
