NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER
ONE (1) SUPERSEDING GROUND WATER PERMIT
TAKE NOTICE:
That Columbia Cherry, LLC of Royal City, Washington has made application for change/transfer of water right in order to add one point of withdrawal and change a poriton of the place of use as granted under Superseding Ground Water Permit No. G3-28182P(A).
That G3-28182P(A) authorizes the withdrawal of 545 gallons per minute, 140 acre-feet per year, each year, for irrigation of 40 acres.
That the authorized point of withdrawal is from one-(1) well located within the NW1/4SW1/4NW1/4 of Sec. 15, T. 14 N., R. 23 E.W.M.
That the authorized place of use is described as: Parcel 1: That portion of the West 600 feet of Sec. 15, T. 14 N., R. 23 E.W.M., described as follows: Beginning at the NW corner of said Sec. 15; thence South 0°31'11" East along the West line of said Sec. 15, 40.996 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing South 0°31'11" East 3787.452 feet; thence North 88°39'15" East parallel with the North line of said Sec. 15, 600.062 feet to and then continuing along the East line of said West 600 feet; thence North 0°31'11" West 3779.362 feet, thence South 89°25'36" West 600 feet to the true point of beginning, EXCEPT Lots 1 & 2, Cox's Landing No. 3, according to the Plat thereof, Recorded in Volume 17 of Plats, Page 89, records of Grant County and Lot 6, Cox's Landing No. 9, according to the Plat thereof, Recorded in Volume 22 of Plats, Pages 27, 28, 29, records of Grant County, being within the NW1/4 of Sec. 15, T. 14 N., R. 23 E.W.M., AND Parcel 2: That portion of the SE1/4NE1/4 of Sec. 16, which lies easterly of a line described as follows: Beginning at the E1/4 of said Sec. 16; thence along the Priest Rapids Reservoir Project Boundary line North 36°01'01" West, a distance of 1624.90 feet to the intersection of said Project Boundary line with the North line of said SE1/4NE1/4, said intersection being North 0°31'11" West a distance of 1321.150 feet and South 89°35'12" West a distance of 943.522 feet from the E1/4 of said Sec. 16. Subject to the right of Grant County for road purposes along the East line of said Sec. 16.
That he proposes to add one-(1) well to be located within the SE1/4SE1/4 of Sec. 28, T. 15 N., R. 23 E.W.M.
That he proposes to change a portion of the place of use to be described as follows: 4.5 acres lying within a portion of the SE1/4SE1/4 of Sec. 28, T. 15 N., R. 23 E.W.M., within Grant County Assessors Parcel No. 150207000.
That his proportional share will be 61.5 gpm, 15.75 acre-feet per year, each year, for the irrigation of 4.5 acres.
ALL WITHIN Grant County, Washington.
Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty-($50.00) dollar recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, at the address shown below, within thirty (30) days from January 24, 2006.
