| November 16, 2005 8:00 PM

Another Angel has gone home. Jim Byrd died at home Nov. 11, 2005, following a courageous battle with cancer. Jim lived in Moses Lake for 15 years. He loved the sunshine and, most of all, the fishing.

Jim was born Oct. 15, 1939 in Tulare, Calif. to Ernest F. and Hazel M. Byrd. He is survived by his wife, Roberta; five children: Kristyn Byrd of Wilsonville, Ore.; Jeff Byrd and his wife Shirley of Lebanon, Ore.; Steve Rounsavell of Los Angeles, Calif.; Debbie DeCleve of Moses Lake and Ronette Welsh and her husband Dan of Grand Junction, Colo.; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; three brothers and their wives: Dean and Shirley Byrd of Wilderville, Ore.; Larry and Darlene Byrd of Grants Pass, Ore. and "Butch" and Darlene Byrd of Lebanon, Ore.

The family of Jim Byrd deeply appreciates the team of central Basin Home Health and Hospice who helped them through this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made, in his memory, to the Central Basin Home Health and Hospice of Moses Lake.
