MOSES LAKE — Big Bend Community College stalwart Mark Poth was named the institution’s full-time athletic director.

Poth served as the interim AD the last two years. During his time as interim AD, Poth resurrected wrestling at Big Bend, bolstered the booster club and helped place the athletic department on track to becoming self-sustaining financially.

Previously, Poth was the head men’s basketball coach for 30 years. Poth won 11 East Region titles, was the NWAC Tournament runner-up and tallied 617 wins — most in conference history — during his time on the bench.
