Aug. 12

Police responded to the 3800 block of West Prichard Road for a report of a motorcycle that had been stolen from a travel trailer. The suspect reportedly pried open a side door and cut a hole in the back fence of the property to smuggle out the ill-gotten goods.

Police responded to Walmart for a report of a male subject who stole a bow and arrows and a computer valued at over $1000 before leaving in a silver Volvo sedan.

Police responded to the area of West Peninsula Drive and South Wanapum Drive for a report of tagging on the highway overpass.

Police responded to the area of West Commerce Way and West Marina Drive for a report of a subject experiencing mental health issues who was standing in the roadway.

Police responded to the 600 block of West Loop Drive for a report of a subject that had been defrauded out of $200 to put a hold on a dog. Upon arriving at the given address, subject found it to be an abandoned house.

Police responded to Monroe House for a report that $50 had been stolen from a resident, whose family alleged an employee may have stolen the money. Monroe House reportedly reimbursed the money and was investigating to see if an employee might have been responsible.

Police responded to the 1200 block of West Gary Street for a report of a vehicle prowl. Officers located the suspect, who was a minor under the influence of alcohol and was transported to Samaritan Hospital per his mother.

Police responded to the 8500 block of Vince Road Northeast for a report of a house that smelled like methamphetamine.

Aug. 13

Police responded to the parking lot of Ross for a report of a suspect openly urinating.

Police responded to Country Store for a report of a male suspect who stole hats by concealing them inside his sweater, one of which fell from its hiding place as he was exiting the store.

Police responded to Monroe House for a report of a resident who believed $200 had gone missing from his dresser. An administrator for the facility stated that the resident’s health changes from time to time and it was unclear whether a theft had actually occurred.

Police responded to Autometrics for a report that a suspect had stolen items from the storefront windowsill.

Police responded to the 1100 block of North Stratford Road for a report of an injured kitten, which was transported to the animal shelter.

Police responded to the 100 block of West Broadway Avenue for a report of a stolen black “beach cruiser” bike.
