Rodney Harwood/Columbia Basin Herald Firefighters with the Grant County and Moses Lake fire departments had a short turnaround after working most of Saturday night at a fire that destroyed Chico’s Pizza Parlor in Moses Lake. Firefighters and police responded around 11 a.m. on Sunday to a fire at the Western Building on West Broadway Avenue. The fire is believed to have started in the lower floor and was contained and extinguished before spreading throughout the building. The cause is yet to be determined. Some firefighters were working on as little as one hour of sleep between the two major fires in Moses Lake on consecutive days. For video of the fire see the Herald’s Facebook page.
