Dorothy Louise Kelley

September 28, 1928 – September 6, 2019

Dorothy was blessed by a long life filled with love, family and friendship.

She was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in Blythe, California. She and Alvie Whitlock married in 1942 and eventually moved with their seven children to Moses Lake, Washington.

After Alvie’s passing in 1992, she married Robert Kelley in 1995. Dorothy cherished worshiping with her church community, singing hymns, baking, playing card games, sewing and caring for children.

She is survived by her husband Robert Kelley; six children Dorothy Cleis, Roy Whitlock, Cecil Whitlock, Beverley Igaz, Debbie Callahan and Alvie Whitlock; one stepdaughter Coleen Hickman; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Richard Whitlock and stepson Coleier Kelley.

Please join her family and friends to celebrate her life. A memorial service will be held Sept. 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Bread of Life Church in Ephrata, Washington.
