February 20, 1933- April 15, 2020

Joanne was born in Hunters, Washington to Kermit and Lela Boissoneau. She often rode her horse to school where she was a cheerleader, played piano, and clarinet. She then obtained her nursing license from WSU and St. Luke’s nursing program. Later on, she met Edward Ribbeck in Spokane and they had two children, Richard and Teresa, whom they raised in Moses Lake.

Joanne loved being a nurse; she helped deliver the first baby born in Samaritan Hospital, then after working as an RN for 17 years became Moses Lake’s first physician’s assistant. She also obtained her nurse practitioner license. She was the medical director for ASME until she retired.

Outside of work, Joanne was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile. She was a master gardener, an excellent cook and to all who knew her, a fashion plate. She married Edward Davies and shared many adventures traveling, boating, and spending time with family. She had a lifelong love of animals and allowed her children to have everything from horned toads to a wounded Canadian goose. She was a force of nature who raised her children to be strong adults. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
