Don Cunnington

| March 17, 2020 11:53 PM

July 4, 1936 – March 11, 2020

Donald Bert Cunnington passed away peacefully on March 11, 2020, at home. Don was blessed by the loving care and attention of his family through the end of his life.

Don is welcomed into heaven by his wife Mary and son Daniel. Don has yearned for Mary since she passed away in 2011. Their love and marriage was an exemplary model for the family and all who knew them. They delighted in each other for 55 years of marriage.

Family was the focus of their lives. Together they created a vital and integral family unit. Don and Mary had six children and 11 grandchildren, and now have 15 great-grandchildren. They raised their family in the little pink house on the corner in Moses Lake, Washington.

Don worked as a cable splicer and a manager for ATT/PNW Bell for 38 years, retiring in 1990.

In retirement, Don’s life was full and complete. His life centered around nurturing grandchildren and great-grandchildren, serving in the Catholic Church, following his favorite sport teams (the Mariners and the Hawks), hanging with family around the pool and traipsing lovingly after Mary.

Don is survived by five of his children Debra, Dawni, Jeanne, David, and Dyan. All of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren will dearly miss him.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/donate.

In lieu of attending services, the family would appreciate visits to the online memorial at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories Online Memorial, www.kayserschapel.com/obituaries.
