Feb. 26

Officers responded to Ottmar Road Northeast for a report of a car burning rubber at an intersection. Police forwarded charges of reckless driving to prosecutors.

Feb. 27

Officers responded to North Stratford Road for a report of a denied firearms transaction investigation.

Officers responded to Samaritan Urgent Care for a report of a car prowling.

Officers responded to the 9700 block of Sunny Drive Northeast for a report of a domestic disturbance in which a man known to carry a firearm was chasing a woman on foot. When police made contact, the woman declined to speak with police and resisted being detained, slapping the hand of an officer who reached for her.

Officers responded to the 8700 block of Vince Road Northeast for a report of possible theft of a tax refund. The reporting party was concerned that a family member had stolen the check to purchase drugs, but couldn’t remember the sibling’s address.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Road H Northeast for a report of a physical domestic dispute. The reporting party advised she wanted to evict her roommate, who was refusing to leave voluntarily. Police advised the subject to take the dispute through the court system.

John David Bernal, 29, of Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to driving while under the influence.

Jose Guadalupe Montoya, 50, of Moses Lake, was booked on charges of harassment.

Marcelino None Ruiz Marin, 46, of Mattawa, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to violation of the uniform controlled substances act.

Elizabeth Sue Carmichael, 59, of Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to bribery, conspiring to smuggle contraband, and possession of a controlled substance.

Feb. 27

Brazen William Penfield, 29, of Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to possession of a controlled substance and driving while under the influence.

Robert Hernandez, 29, of Mattawa, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to fourth-degree domestic violence assault and third-degree driving while license suspended.

Sheila Marie Milano, 55, of Coulee City, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to unspecified charges.
