City of Moses Lake Notice of Application, DNS, and Adoption of Existing Environmental Documents Public Hearing The city of Moses Lake has received an application from Grant County Hospital District #1 for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a hospital campus on approximately 55-acres at the NW intersection of Yonezawa Blvd. and Clover Dr. The city issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) adopting the existing NEPA environmental document: Revised Environmental Assessment-Proposed Samaritan Healthcare Replacement Medical Campus, prepared for the USDA-Rural Development to support the Conditional Use Permit application. There is no comment or appeal period for the DNS. The existing adopted NEPA environmental document can be provided upon request from the City of Moses Lake Community Development Department. Written comments relating to the Conditional Use Application will be accepted until the time of a public hearing on the conditional use permit. The public hearing is scheduled for August 26, 2020 at 10:00 am. This will be a remote hearing. MOSES LAKE DREDGE PROJECT SPOILS REQUEST FOR BIDS The Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District (MLIRD) requests comprehensive bids to relocate an estimated 40,000 cubic yards of sediment material (Spoils) to a site approximately 10 miles away in support of District dredging operations. The selected contractor must be legal to operate & perform professional work of this nature in Washington State and demonstrate experience and qualifications with a comprehensive plan to move a minimum of 1,000 cubic yards per day. Contractor shall provide at least three references for previous work for public entities. Contractor to supply all required project equipment and will self-load but dump-and-go to unload in designated area. Additionally, each bidder must agree to the following: MLIRD reserves the right to make the final bid determination based on all information available to MLIRD, including but not limited to the bid submittal. Proof of $3,000,000 insurance showing MLIRD as additional insured required w/bid proposal. All project personnel must be qualified and all project equipment & materials to be supplied by the contractor All submitting contractors are strongly encouraged to do a site-visit prior to submittal to ensure final proposals will meet MLIRD requirements.
