James L. Leet (Jim) passed away peacefully in his sleep July 15, 2020, at the age of 64.

Jim was born in Conrad, Montana, and thoroughly enjoyed rural life until he moved to Seattle, Washington, with his family in 1969. Jim was born with a burning desire to understand how things worked and was endowed with the intelligence to satisfy his curiosity. His passion for understanding the world around him led him to a career as an electrician. Jim had a larger-than-life personality that was enjoyed by countless friends and loved ones. His boisterous laugh along with immeasurable charisma made Jim the truly unique man that he was. His many talents also extended into the arts. He excelled in sculpting, painting and drawing. He moved to Moses Lake in 2015, enjoying his retirement.

Jim is survived by his son Spencer Leet, mother Wanda Leet, sister Rebecca Leet, sister Jackie Nelson, nephew Corey Nelson and niece Lacey Nelson.
