Officers responded to the 100 block of West Northshore Drive for a report of a resident who was scammed by a caller claiming to be associated with the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Social Security Administration.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of East Truman Drive for a report of a physical fight in the park.

Officers responded to the College Apartments for a report of a domestic violence assault in which the male party put his hands around the victim’s neck.

Officers responded to the 3400 block of West Mariner Lane for a report of a woman experiencing a mental health issue who was transported to Samaritan Healthcare for evaluation.

Officers responded to the 700 block of West Broadway Avenue for a report of an unknown suspect who threw a large rock through a business’s front window.

Officers responded to Les Schwab Tires for a report of a homeless encampment behind the business. The campers were advised to vacate the area.

Officers responded to Papa’s Casino for a report of suspects having sex in the banquet room and then being aggressive with security.

Officers responded to the 500 block of North Earl Road for a report of a woman who forced her way into a neighbor’s home and then told the neighbor that her boyfriend had pointed a gun at her head and threatened to kill her.

Officers responded to the 500 block of South Astor Loop for a report of a car prowling in which a handgun and Kevlar holster were stolen.

Officers responded to the 500 block of South Beech Street for a report of a router stolen out of a resident’s cable box.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of North Grape Drive for a report of a car prowling in which a wallet was stolen while the owner was in church.

Officers responded to Granco Federal Credit Union for a report of a motorcycle that ran a stop sign and then failed to yield for an attempted traffic stop. Suspect was detained after wrecking his motorcycle in the Skill Source parking lot.

July 12

Officers responded to the area of Longview Street Northeast and Parkway Drive Northeast for a report of two vehicles driving around this area cussing at a resident and shouting “Norte” at him.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of North Daniel Street for a report of a window air conditioning unit that was stolen from a back window of a residence.

Officers responded to Papa Murphy’s for a report of a man deliberately trying to jump in front of a vehicle. Subject was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Officers responded to the 4200 block of Robin Lane Northeast for a report of the theft of a trash can, two shovels and a cat from the residence.

July 9

Vincent Olveda Wheeler, 23, of Moses Lake, was booked on charges of second-degree assault, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence and harassment.

Homero Chavez, 32, of Moses Lake, was booked on charges of violating a no-contact order.

Leilani Mae Ibsen, 56, of Grand Coulee, was booked on charges of violating a protection order.

Evan James Herbert, 27, of Moses Lake, was booked on charges of second-degree theft, as well as an outstanding warrant related to third-degree theft.
