Officers responded to the 7900 block of Blue Jay Drive Northeast for a report of spray paint graffiti that was possibly gang-related.

Officers responded to the 400 block of East Sharon Avenue for a report of tires on a resident’s vehicle that had been slashed overnight.

Officers responded to the Transit Center for a report of a recovered bike that was previously stolen from the Grant Transit Authority.

Officers responded to the 9800 block of Olympic Drive Northeast for a report of a male subject demanding to pick up his child. Police arrested the man after learning he had a number of active warrants.

Officers responded to Endeavor Middle School for a report of a student that walked off campus after being instructed to stay by staff.

Officers responded to Frontier Middle School for a report of a student who stole a robotic controller from class and attempted to have his friend sell it online. The student’s grandmother discovered the crime and turned the child in.

Officers responded to the 800 block of South Ironwood Drive for a report of a strangulation, in which a male subject reportedly grabbed a woman by the neck and pushed her backwards into a wall.

Officers responded to the 400 block of South Balsam Street for a report of a rifle and chainsaw found at the sand dunes, which was turned into the police station.

Officers responded to Peninsula Elementary School for a report of a fight at the location in which at least one party was reportedly armed with a knife.

Officers responded to El Rancho Motel for a report of a customer who attempted to use counterfeit $20 bills. Suspect was not located.

Officers responded to the Moses Lake High School for a report of a student who refused to stop touching another student’s hair and leg.

Officers responded to El Rancho Motel for another report of a customer attempting to use counterfeit $20 bills. Fake money was seized by police and a possible investigation is pending.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of West Lee Street for a report of unknown suspects egging and prowling a resident’s vehicles.

Officers responded to Wingate by Wyndham for a report of a damaged vending machine.

Officers responded to Fraley Chiropractic for a report of a used syringe found outside of the business.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of West Lakeside Drive for a report of a cast iron smoker stolen from a resident’s back porch.

Officers responded to the 900 block of North Grape Drive for a report of an elementary student reporting they were being abused.

Justine Annmarie Jake, 21, of Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to fourth-degree domestic violence assault, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence and second-degree animal cruelty with unnecessary suffering.

Margarita Corral, 46, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to making a false statement to a public servant, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, unlawful harboring of a minor and third-degree driving while license suspended, as well as new charges for making false statements to a public servant and third-degree theft.

Erin Kylee Torres, 31, of Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to third-degree driving while license suspended.
