Was allegedly in possession of over a pound of drugs

MOSES LAKE - A man with an outstanding warrant out for his arrest was busted in Moses Lake on Tuesday.

Moses Lake Police Department Street Crimes Unit detectives assisted U.S. Marshals with locating Jose Chavez-Sanchez, 34, of Pasco. Detectives reportedly located Chavez-Sanchez at an apartment complex on Sunburst Court. Police reportedly located 14 ounces of heroin and three ounces of methamphetamine on Chavez-Sanchez when he was taken into custody. The suspect was booked into the Grant County Jail on the outstanding warrant and charges related to the drug discovery.
