Trump promises but doesn’t deliver

Trump promised a fabulous health-care plan. There isn’t one.

Trump promised to keep entitlements. His 2020 budget cuts them.

Trump promised to bring back manufacturing, steel and coal. All are slumping.

Trump promised to get tough on drug companies. He hasn’t.

Trump promised his tax cut would give each average family $4,000, help the middle class, grow the economy above 3 or 4 percent. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Trump promised child tax credits for working families. Families are still waiting.

Trump promised trade wars would be quickly won. Nope.

Trump promised trade wars would help farmers. He gave them welfare (“farm subsidies”).

Trump promised China would pay the tariffs. American consumers are.

Trump promised to reduce the debt. It expanded $800 billion.

Trump promised Mexico would pay for the wall. Mexico still says no. Taxpayers are on the hook.

Trump promised to increase respect for America. The opposite is the case.

Trump promised the deficit would get smaller. It ballooned.

Trump promised huge economic benefits from his tax cuts. The economy is shrinking.

Trump promised to unite the country. However, he promotes hatred, division, and fear instead.

Trump promised a lot, but he failed to deliver.

It’s time for a change.
