Support widening SR-17

Print Article

I have made the proposal to our state legislators that Highway 17 between Mesa and Moses Lake should become a four-lane highway. Rep. Mary Dye will be meeting with the Washington State Department of Transportation in October and would like our input.

If you would like to support this proposal, please send her an email with your thoughts and support of this improvement for Highway 17. I remember when Highway 395 from Pasco to Spokane was just a two-lane road. It is so nice that Highway 395 is now a four-lane freeway and traffic moves along so smoothly.

Send your email to mary.dye@leg.wa.gov.
