LIBERTY LAKE — A quartet of local small-school girls basketball players will compete in the 23rd Annual Washington/North Idaho All-State Girls Basketball Games this Saturday in Liberty Lake.

Rios was the focal point of Warden’s talented freshmen class, averaging 17 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. The 5-foot-9 wing also totaled 47 assists, 59 steals and 30 blocks.

Wilhelm and Louie led Royal to a district tournament berth. Both all-leaguers averaged 15 points per game; the 5-foot-10 Louie averaged a double-double with 12 rebounds per game.

Ephrata’s Payton Hagy will play on the East 2/3A team. Hagy averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game as a freshman for the Tigers.

Saturday’s games will be played at the Hub Sports Center in Liberty Lake. The Class B game begins the triple-header at 1:30 p.m., with the 1A and 2/3A games following. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children (12 and under) and seniors (62 and over).
