Nov. 9

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 9700 block of Northeast Sunny Drive. Victim said two vehicles were broken into and items stolen, no estimated value.

Report of business egged at 511 S. Division St.

Report of theft at a business at 905 S. Pioneer Way. Reporting party said a locked gate was open and property maintenance equipment was missing, estimated value $200.

Report of attempted fraud. Tenant of an assisted living facility at 816 E. Sharon Ave. received a package from a fraudulent telemarketer. Reporting party and tenant were advised to return any packages received.

Report of robbery at a business at 323 S. Division St. Victim said she got money from the cash machine, and as she walked away an unknown man grabbed her and tried to take the money from her hand, asking for $20. He did get a $5 bill. Suspect is described as a Hispanic male, scruffy beard and black coat, about 5’6” to 5’8” tall.

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown female suspect stole undetermined amount of groceries.

A man, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Nov. 10

Report of gunshot wound. Subject had a wound to his left hand. He said he was walking home and was about one mile from his residence when he noticed his hand was feeling weird; when he looked down his hand was bleeding.

Report of domestic dispute. A 33-year-old man and a woman allegedly were arguing while in their residence; the man punched a window and broke it. He was arrested.

A man, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant for escaping community custody on an original charge of first-degree child molestation.

Report of threats in the parking lot of business at 911 N. Stratford Rd. Reporting party said an unidentified female driver was speeding through the parking lot. When the reporting party asked the subject to slow down, the woman picked up a wrench and threatened her.

Report of one-vehicle, hit and run accident at the intersection of West Broadway Avenue and South Division Street. Sometime overnight an unidentified vehicle drove onto the sidewalk, hitting a light pole and damaging a tree.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Report of possible theft at a business at 658 Rd. L NE. Owner said he placed the vehicle at the lot for sale and found parts missing when he drove by to check on it.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 319 W. Fourth Ave. Driver of vehicle 1 backed into a parked vehicle. The driver, a 16-year-old girl, left the scene but was later contacted.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of West Knolls Vista Drive and North Stratford Road.

Report of intruder at a residence in the 500 block of West Loop Drive. Reporting party said he heard his front door open and close, and when he went to check, found a man he didn’t know in the house. The man sat down at the dining room table and fell asleep. The 31-year-old man was arrested for residential burglary.

Nov. 11

Report of fight at a business at 507 East Broadway Ave. Server and security guard were allegedly assaulted by a group of patrons who had caused a disturbance. The case is still under investigation.

A 58-year-old woman was arrested for first-degree trespassing at a business at 2822 W. Driggs Dr. The woman was staying at the motel and refused to leave at check-out time; she went back to the room, locked the deadbolt and barricaded herself inside. Police officers forced the door and arrested her.

Report of mail theft at a residence in the 800 block of West Sage Bay Drive. Reporting party said a package was delivered the previous day, but was not in the box when they arrived.

Report of theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Unknown suspect left the business with merchandise; estimated value, $60 to $100.

Report of theft from a business at 911 N. Stratford Rd. Unknown female suspect took merchandise estimated at about $90.

Nov. 12

Report of one-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Third Street and Ash Street. Driver of vehicle 1 drove through the intersection and hit the traffic signal post.

Report of vehicle stolen in the 900 block of South Ironwood Drive. Vehicle was located at SR 17 and Yonezawa Boulevard, but fled the scene. The driver was stopped and arrested in Adams County.

Report of car stolen from a business at 1819 Kittleson Rd.

Report of vehicle theft that turned out to be false. Reporting party said the car had been stolen sometime overnight. But the car had already been found and impounded, and the reporting party in that case said the man reporting his car stolen was the man who asked to use her phone when the car was stuck off the road. The man admitted making a false report, and the case is still under investigation.

Report of counterfeit $100 found on the sidewalk outside a residence in the 1400 block of South Division Street.

Report of theft at a business at 4421 W. Prichard Rd. Victim left his wallet on the counter, and when he came back it was gone. Suspect was recorded on video picking up the wallet.

Report of two-vehicle, minor injury accident on North Stratford Road and Mart Road. Driver of vehicle 2 was stopped at the stoplight and was rear-ended by vehicle 1. A passenger in vehicle 2 was taken to Samaritan Hospital.

Report of theft at a business at 1819 E. Kittleson Rd. Victim checked into the motel, but the credit card machine wasn’t working properly, and the subject left in the morning without paying.

Report of theft at a business at 120 W. Broadway Ave. Planters and plants were stolen, estimated value $200.

A woman reported an ongoing problem with dogs digging under her fence and killing her chickens.

A man reported a trespasser on his property.

A woman reported threats left on her answering machine.

A man reported that a female at his residence threatened him with scissors and bodily harm.

A man reported that a male whom he didn’t know had walked into his residence and was currently sitting at his kitchen table.

A fight was reported outside a bar.

Nov. 11

A woman reported a female in her house and refusing to leave.

A woman reported that someone tried to open her front door in the middle of the night.

Mailboxes were reportedly broken into.

A man reported finding mail that appeared to be stolen.

A male caller reported that his brother had been bitten by a dog.

A woman reported that her ex was on the property acting erratically and she didn’t want him there.

A man reported coming home to find someone stealing two gas cans from his property.

A woman reported that her ex-husband’s ex-girlfriend was harassing her by phone.

Nov. 12

A gang fight was reported at a bar.

A woman reported that her vehicle was missing.

A woman reported that her cousin’s boyfriend opened her window carrying a large knife and looking for his girlfriend.

A woman reported that her vehicle’s back window had been broken out.

A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was trying to get into her house.

A man reported that his wallet had been stolen in a gas station.

A woman reported a female harassing her by phone.

A man reported that a female came to his residence and threatened him.

A man reported that he was stabbed when he walked out the door.

A business reported threatening calls from a former employee.

Nov. 10

Patrick Walker 28, Ephrata, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for second-degree burglary and third-degree malicious mischief.

Tyler Flores, 21, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Felipe Martinez Sanchez, no age listed, Othello, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Efrain Madrid, 24, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Seth Estrada, 26, Ruff, was booked for residential burglary.

Nov. 11

Ty Matheson, no age listed, Desert Aire, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for criminal solicitation, third-degree theft and making false statements to law enforcement.

Delia Vasquez, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for four counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Courtney McKeever, 29, Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC 30-day commitment.

Angela Harless, 39, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Megan Guerrero, 21, Soap Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Richard Manley, 58, Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree criminal trespassing.

Bethany Lasley, 31, Ephrata, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Jacqueline Lence, 25, Warden, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Kenneth Schappell, 31, Moses Lake, was booked possession of heroin, theft of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude and third-degree driving with a suspended license, and an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Danielle Linney, 33, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
