Demo Derby off to a roaring start

MOSES LAKE — The 2022 Northwest Ag Demolition Derby kicked off Tuesday evening at the Grant County Fairgrounds.

Flying dirt, smoke, engines revving and cheering filled the air as heat by heat cars took to the track.

Pretty early on a car was rolled and the driver was able to climb out of the vehicle and appeared unharmed.

Day one’s events included time trials, Best Looking Car, Trophy Dash, heat races, pickup truck heat races, Powder Puff race, Australian Pursuit, Winners race and small car demo.

Day two will include Youth Power Wheels Demo, Heat races, Figure 8 race, Powder Puff races, Australian pursuit races, winners race and ’80s car demo.
