Your healthcare depends on this election

| October 25, 2018 3:00 AM

At least 75 percent of Americans believe that health care is the No. 1 issue in this election.

Republicans in the House of Representatives have voted at least 50 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act (also called Obamacare). Republicans recently filed a lawsuit in Texas to have pre-existing conditions removed from the ACA. The Trump administration plans to implement a new policy after the midterm elections to let health insurance companies charge higher premiums for those with pre-existing conditions.

Yet, many Republicans running for office now say they support pre-existing conditions and the ACA (Obamacare). They cannot be both against and for pre-existing conditions and the ACA at the same time. Only one claim is true.

Your vote this midterm will determine the health care coverage that all Americans will have.

Your vote matters. Because. Your. Health. Care. Depends. On. It.
