Strong start from Bafus guides Wenatchee to win over Corvallis

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Wenatchee starter Curtis Bafus went seven strong innings with nine strikeouts and the AppleSox beat the Corvallis Knights 4-0.
Bafus scattered six hits over seven innings, surrendering just one walk. Troy Stainbrook recorded four strikeouts in two innings of relief.
Conner McCord hit a two-run single in the ninth inning for some insurance runs.
Wenatchee continues its series against Corvallis today at 6:35 p.m.
