MOSES LAKE — A suspicious person call at a Moses Lake business led to a man being arrested for drug and gun possession Wednesday night.

The Moses Lake Police Department responded to a gas station on Prichard Road for a report of a suspicious male. Police were informed the male had been inside the business for over two hours, continually asked the clerk when she got off work and refused to leave the store.

MLPD officers arrived at the business and contacted the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Antolin O. Leon Olivera. Leon Olivera allegedly lied to officers about his identity and was taken into custody. Police reportedly located a .32 caliber pistol and methamphetamine on Leon Olivera when he was searched.

Police discovered Leon Olivera is not a citizen of the United States. He was booked into the Grant County Jail for alien in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine and an outstanding warrant for DUI.
