Ronald Eugene Johnson

April 4, 1943 – February 11, 2018

Ron Johnson passed away at the family home on Feb. 11, 2018 after an extended illness. He was born to Arthur and Beatrice (Hansen) Johnson on April 4, 1943 at Fort Ransom, N.D. His parents, brother Bernie, sister Carol and grandson Robbie preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Ronna, children Jeannie, Christy (Joe) and Bob (Lil) and 13 stepchildren Wanda, Jeri, Becky (Lee), Michael (Renee), Heather (Rick), Teresa (Mack), Thom, Madeline (Craig), Michelle (Bruce), Diana, Denise, Daniel and Dale. He had 71 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He dearly loved his large family and camping in the motor home.

Ron graduated from Billings High School in 1961 and began working for Buttrey Foods after graduation as produce manager and moved to Moses Lake in 1976. He retired after 25 years, and then worked at Metro TV and Appliance until the store closed.

At his request there will be no funeral service. A private memorial will be held at a latter date. The family suggests a donation to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
