Feb. 9

Report of theft at a business at 1706 W. Broadway Ave. Thieves broke into the business and stole tools which belonged to employees. Estimated value of stolen items was about $1,500.

Report of theft from a residence in the 2200 block of West Broadway Avenue. Thieves stole a mountain bike, silver in color. No estimated value.

Report of a two vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of Yonezawa Boulevard and South Maiers Road.

Report of two vehicle, hit and run accident in the parking lot of a business at 101 E. Fourth Ave. Driver of vehicle 1 allegedly hit vehicle 2, parked and unoccupied, and left the scene. Driver of vehicle 1 was located at his residence and arrested and released for hit and run and second-degree driving with a suspended license.

Report of hit and run accident at a business at 825 N. Stratford Rd. Unknown driver hit the victim in the drive-through of the business and left the scene. Case is still under investigation.

Report of phone stolen at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Owner left the phone in the business, but it was gone when he returned. Phone was found using an app, and the person with the phone was contacted and told no charges would be brought if the phone was returned.

Feb. 10

Report of woman throwing rocks at a man. The 33-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree assault (domestic violence), possession of a controlled substance with no prescription and an outstanding Grant County felony warrant. The 30-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrant.

Report of graffiti on the cement retaining wall at a residence in the 1100 block of South Baker Street.

Report of vehicle theft. Vehicle described as a white 1994 Nissan Altima with Idaho plates; the car starts with a screwdriver.

Report of vandalism in the 600 block of South Grand Drive. Victim said someone keyed her vehicle during the past three days.

A juvenile, no age given, turned himself in on an outstanding felony warrant.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for second-degree burglary after he allegedly stole a half-gallon of alcohol from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. The man was found behind the store with the alcohol.

Report of theft from a business at 861 N. Stratford Rd. Witnesses saw a woman take clothes, estimated value $200. Suspect was described as a heavyset woman wearing a red shirt, accompanied by a man in a red hat. Suspects left the scene in a silver hatchback.

Report of theft. Reporting party said unknown suspect stole rear license plate from her car sometime during the previous two days.

A 28-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin and on outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop.

Feb. 11

Report of one-vehicle, rollover accident in the 1000 block of South Lakeland Drive. Driver was seen running from the scene, and identified as registered owner of the vehicle. Officers found empty beer cans and golf clubs scattered at the scene. Driver was not located and is being sought.

Report of domestic disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of South Poplar Street. Man and woman allegedly hit each other and threw cell phones at each other. The woman allegedly had a bloody lip. The man, 34 years of age, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Report of theft from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Suspect failed to scan items at the self-checkout, estimated value, $48.

Charges are pending against a 25-year-old man after he allegedly attempted to steal two bottles of alcohol from a business at 960 N. Stratford Rd.

Report of theft from a business at 6928 Rd. L NE. Suspect entered the building, setting off the alarm, and leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1300 block of South Skyline Drive. Victim said vehicle was searched sometime during the day. Unknown suspects stole speakers, clothes and documents.

Report of theft from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Two suspects, a man and woman, allegedly attempted to take a grocery cart full of unpaid-for items from the business. The man, 29 years of age, attempted to run away but was apprehended after a short chase. He was arrested for possession of heroin, second-degree burglary, third-degree theft, resisting arrest and obstructing law enforcement. The woman, 27 years of age, ran away and was not caught. Charges are pending against the woman.

Report of theft from a residence in the 1400 block of East Craig Street. Victim said unknown suspects stole a backpack from her car. The contents included clothes, cash and ID and credit cards.

Grant County Jail

Feb. 9

Mary Ruiz, 27, Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license, and an outstanding Okanogan County warrant for possession of methamphetamines, second-degree burglary and making false statements to law enforcement.

Feb. 10

Fernando Castro Delgado, 31, Quincy, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of DUI.

Johnnie Strong, 65, no address listed, was booked for third-degree malicious mischief.

Jessica Poulos, 33, no address listed, was booked on possession of controlled substances, second-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for forgery.

Codie Cannon, 30, no address listed, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for reckless driving and two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Rigoberto Justo Ramos, 31, Moses Lake, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license and an outstanding Adams County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Dyllon Angle Suazo, 20, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary.

Bryan Wulf, 21, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding Grant County warrant for supplying liquor to minors.

Miguel Trujillo, 21, Warden, was booked for being a felon in possession of a firearm and on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Feb. 11

Sharon Powell, 61, Ephrata, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Oscar Estrada, 40, Berry Creek, Calif., was booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for first-degree theft and residential burglary.

Shawn Vandenbos, 35, Yakima, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Oscar Anguiano, 34, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Juan Mendez, 42, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Nicholas Essex, 28, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for possession of heroin and outstanding GCDC warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and making false statements to a public servant.

Brandon Esparza, 22, Warden, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Joseph Montes, 29, Soap Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary, possession of heroin, third-degree theft, resisting arrest and obstructing a public servant, and GCSC warrants for possession of methamphetamines, third-degree theft and two counts of second-degree burglary.

Feb. 12

Kari Doughty, 60, Grand Coulee, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
