GCFD No. 3 holding food drive on Sunday

QUINCY — Firefighters with Grant County Fire District No. 3 will be making their way through Quincy on Sunday collecting donations for the Quincy Food Bank.

Firefighters will begin going around town at 1 p.m. on Sunday collecting the donations. People who are not home during the collection time but still want to make a donation are encouraged to leave non-perishable food items on their front porch and firefighters will swing by and gather it.

Donations can also dropped off at the GCFD No. 3 fire station, 1201 Central Ave. S.

“Quincy is a great community, full of giving,” Quincy Police Department Chief Kieth Siebert said. “Thank you to the citizens and fire personnel for your caring hearts.”
