| August 16, 2018 3:00 AM

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake firefighters responded to and put out a fire that originated in a dryer at a laundromat Wednesday morning.

The fire, which was reportedly the result of a faulty electrical system, broke out at the Plaza Coin-Op Laundry off of North Stratford Road. Firefighters responded quickly and were able to put out the fire before it made its way into the walls of the building.

The nearby businesses Kidzone and Anytime Fitness were evacuated as a precaution. There were no reported injuries or other structures affected.
