Report of a male looking into vehicles and mailboxes in the 2000 block of West Lakeside Drive. Police could not find the male.

An unknown suspect made forced entry into a business office in the 200 block of West Commerce Way. No items were taken from the office.

Report of an abandoned apartment broken into by squatters in the 300 block of South Cedar Street.

Report of a person riding a dirt bike without a helmet in the area of state Route 17 and East Nelson Road.

A man was arrested for second-degree theft and second-degree vehicle prowling after entering an unlocked running vehicle in the area of South Pioneer Way and East Nelson Road and stealing a cellphone.

A man was arrested for fourth-degree assault after slapping a woman in the face during an argument over money.

A man reported a vehicle failed to stop at a stop light on South Pioneer Way and almost struck his vehicle. Police could not locate the vehicle.

A business reported a suspicious person just sitting in the doorway.

A woman reported someone dressed all in black in her backyard.

Gilberto Vargas Jr., 23, of Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault.

Efrain Tafolla, 20, of George, was arrested and booked on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for driving without a license.

William Schuster, 21, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on two counts of fourth-degree assault.

Kasey Hardy, 34, a transient, was arrested and booked for second-degree theft and vehicle prowling.

Marcus Fraser, 32, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for unlawful imprisonment.

Ryan Bates, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for possession of methamphetamine and an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Slade Fortner, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Department of Corrections secretary's warrant for violations of probation.
