Aug. 12

Report of theft from a residence in the 8500 block of Northeast Jean Road. Unknown suspects stole power tools from victim’s garage. Estimated value about $600. Case is still under investigation.

Report of burglary at Peninsula Elementary, 2406 West Texas St. Portable classroom window was broken and computer stolen.

Report of two-vehicle accident in the 800 block of East Hill Avenue. Unknown driver backed into rear side door of victim’s vehicle.

Report of shoplifting from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way.

Report of two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 2 allegedly backed into vehicle 1, which was parked.

Report of identity theft. Victim said an unknown subject has been using her identity for at least two years, filing tax returns and using her name to gain employment.

Report of weapons stolen from a residence in the 800 block of South Sycamore Lane. The guns went missing sometime between April 2015 and July 2016. The guns were described as an inoperable .22 pistol, the other a modified .38 pistol.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested on outstanding Grant County warrants.

A 22-year-old woman, an employee of a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly concealed items in her employee locker and left at the end of her shift without paying for them.

Report of hit and run accident in the 600 block of South Coolidge Street. Victim’s vehicle was hit in the employee parking lot.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant. The man was known to have the outstanding warrant, was contacted by law enforcement officers and ran from them, and was tackled by an unidentified bystander.

A 40-year-old man was arrested for DUI.

Aug. 13

A 35-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and a 29-year-old woman was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) after an alleged domestic disturbance. A witness at the scene, a 28-year-old man, was arrested on two outstanding warrants.

A 35-year-old man was arrested for felony harassment (domestic violence) and an outstanding WDOC warrant. A 42-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.

Report of attempted robbery in the 800 block of South Division Street. Victim said she was walking with a family member when a man came up to them, pushed her to the ground and attempted to take her purse. The victim said she began screaming and the man dropped the purse and ran away. The man is described as a black male, about six feet, two inches, wearing a gray sweatshirt.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 2900 block of West Marina Drive. Sometime overnight unknown suspect broke into the victim’s truck and took a GPS system and .22 revolver.

Report of telephone harassment. Subject, who lives out of the area, contacted victim nine times in about half an hour at her place of employment.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 826 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 backed out a parking space and ran into vehicle 2.

Report of bank fraud. Victim said someone had withdrawn about $700 from her account.

A 54-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Franklin County warrant.

Report of man walking in the area of West Wapato drive and South Wanapum Drive with his genitals exposed. Subject was gone on arrival.

Report of shoplifting from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Subject allegedly stole two bottles of alcohol, estimated value about $60.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for third-degree driving with a suspended license. His vehicle was towed. A passenger, a 19-year-old woman, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

Report of vehicle prowl in the parking lot of a business at 233 North Block Street. Victim said unknown suspect threw a rock through his car window and a satellite radio receiver, backpack and sunglasses.

Report of gunshots in the 300 block of North Mattson Avenue. Numerous witnesses said unknown suspects in a vehicle shot at the victim and other people in the area. A 15-year-old boy received a gunshot wound in the upper thigh. Vehicle was described as a late 1990s Toyota Corolla with black wheels, occupied by four or five suspects. Numerous shell casings were located, from a .25 automatic and a 9mm.

Aug. 14

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at West Mart Road and North Stratford Road. Driver of vehicle 1 was driving south on Stratford Road and attempted to turn left onto Mart Road, hitting vehicle 2, which was traveling north.

Report of burglary in the 800 block of South Burress Avenue. Unknown suspect entered the victim’s house sometime overnight and stole consumer electronics and clothing.

Report of stolen vehicle found. The owner found the truck behind a business at 1810 East Kittleson Rd. Vehicle was in good condition with radios stolen.

Reporting party said he purchased a phone through a Facebook contact, and when he took the phone to a friend to unlock it, it was identified as stolen. Case is still under investigation

Report of bicycle stolen in the 1600 block of South Skyline Drive. Victim left her bike in the driveway and saw a man riding it away. Bike is described as a 26-inch light blue Huffy with white front and rear suspension. Estimated value is $140.

Report of hit and run accident in the 1100 block of South Balsam Street. Driver of vehicle 1 backed up and hit vehicle 2, leaving the scene.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

A 22-year-old man was arrested for third-degree theft after allegedly stealing alcohol from a business at 1158 North Stratford Road.

A woman reported a subject lying in the rocks hiding from her when she walked by.

A man reported that two small children came to his home saying their mother was being beaten.

A fraudulent phone call purporting to be from the IRS was reported.

A water tank was reported stolen.

A phone was reported stolen at a Gorge concert.

A man reported spotting his cousin’s truck, which had been stolen a year previously.

A woman reported finding drug paraphernalia in her 16-year-old son’s car.

A man reported seeing a female subject at his neighbor’s residence grab a juvenile and drag him around.

A woman reported that her husband, who had been drinking, had vandalized their truck.

A female caller reported that her friend had been beaten by her boyfriend and he wouldn’t let her leave.

Aug. 13

A male subject was reported walking into traffic trying to stop cars.

A man reported that he was at his ex-girlfriend’s mother’s residence and she was refusing to return some of his property to him.

A male subject was reported riding a skateboard in stocking feet in and out of traffic.

A woman reported that her daughter returned home with a black eye after arguing with another female.

A man reported that he and his friend were attempting to pick up his friend’s vehicle and the subjects who had it would not return it.

A man reported that his son bought an iPhone on the father’s account, then sold it without permission.

A man reported that a male subject told him he was “staking the place out” and displayed a firearm.

A woman reported hearing gunshots and said her neighbors were going crazy.

Aug. 14

A man requested assistance in trespassing his roommate’s brother from his residence.

A hotel reported two males passed out on the lawn outside the building.

A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend drove away from her residence after drinking all night.

A man reported that his wife had been raped the night before.

A boat windshield was reportedly busted out.

A woman reported an unknown female subject wandering around the neighborhood, going through people’s things and hiding in a garden.

A woman reported that her underage son was acquiring drugs, then coming home violent.

A man reported his vehicle had been broken into.

A man reported that his neighbor was watering too close to his property and wetting down his hay.

A man reported that he was buying property in Moses lake, and every time he comes to the property something is missing.

The Columbia Basin Job Corps center reported that someone was on their premises that shouldn’t be.

A ranch reported that seven tractors had been vandalized.

A man reported that his ex-employee had come to the workplace to retrieve his things and was somewhat confrontational.

A male subject was reported at the Grant County Fairgrounds in the middle of the night on drugs and acting strangely.

Aug. 15

A woman reported that an intoxicated male walked into her house in the wee hours of the morning and was sitting in her living room. She didn’t know the subject but did know his grandparents.

A woman reported that a male subject wearing only shorts showed up at her door at around four in the morning.

A man reported at least seven stray cattle on his property.

A wallet and firearm were reported stolen from a vehicle.

Aug. 12

Joseph Cunningham, 43, Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on a Washington Department of Corrections order.

Robert Hall, 37, transient, was booked on a DOC warrant for second-degree burglary

Kurtis Klingenberg, 18, Electric City, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Holly Minerd, 25, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for second-degree burglary, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamines and third-degree theft, and a Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Daniel Justesen, 28, Ephrata, was booked for first-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Eddie Trevino, 33, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Jacqueline Baker, 33, Soap Lake, was booked first-degree theft and possession of controlled substances.

Jordan Carrillo, 23, Puyallup, was booked on an outstanding Pierce County warrant for third-degree theft.

Robert Wiley, 49, Soap Lake, was booked for outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of second-degree criminal trespassing and for displaying a weapon.

Donald Burgeis, 31, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Tony Gonzales, 35, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Latecia Perez, 29, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.
