Aug. 10

An assistant manager at Walmart was arrested for first-degree theft after he was reportedly spotted on video surveillance taking $5,000 from a safe Sunday night. The suspect stated he took the money due to a personal financial crisis. The man gave back $4,900 of the stolen money.

A man reported some items were removed from his shed in the 2100 block of West Lakeside Drive and put near his vehicle. Nothing was stolen in the incident.

Report of numerous items stolen out of a garage in the 800 block of South Sycamore Lane.

Report of mail stolen out of a mailbox in the 2000 block of West Lakeside Drive.

A suspicious man was spotted driving slowly in the 1100 block of West Lakeside Drive. The man claimed to be looking for a friend and was cited for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license. He was also warned for not having insurance.

Report of several items stolen out of a church’s shed in the 300 block of North Central Drive.

A man reported several items were stolen out of his vehicle in the 1700 block of West Fern Drive.

Report of between $150 and $200 stolen out of a business’s donation box in the 600 block of West Third Avenue.

A man was permanently trespassed from all Rite Aid stores after he was reportedly being loud and rude in the South Pioneer Way Rite Aid.

Report of juveniles playing on construction equipment and in ditches at Lakeview Elementary. No juveniles were observed at the school by police.

Report of two bicycles stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of West Columbia Avenue.

Grant County District Court

Aug. 10

Isabel Ramirez, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested for an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Shawn Rapp, 36, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for first-degree possession of stolen property and possession of methamphetamine.

Logan Sanders, 28, of Moses Lake, was arrested for first-degree theft.

Randy McKinney, 52, of Moses Lake, was arrested for an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Horacio Mojica, 26, of Warden, was arrested for residential burglary and felony order violation.

Andres Rodriguez, 65, of Quincy, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree defrauding a public utility.

Deanna Ortiz, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested for outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft.
